Botox, Dysport & Xeomin

The treatment everyone has heard of, done the way it should be: enough to soften what bothers you, never so much that your face stops moving. Dr. Green picks between Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin based on how your features actually behave — and uses less of it than most clinics would.

Quieter lines. Still your face.

What it is

At its simplest: tiny, targeted injections that quiet the muscles behind the lines you keep noticing in the mirror. Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are all FDA-approved neuromodulators that work the same way — they just behave a little differently in how quickly they take effect and how they spread. Dr. Green chooses the one that fits your face. The goal is softer expression, not no expression.

Common questions
  • How should I prepare for Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport?

Avoid blood thinners like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for three to five days beforehand to lower the risk of bruising. Skip alcohol the day of. No need to fast. If you tend to get cold sores, tell Dr. Green at your visit — neurotoxin around the lips can occasionally trigger one. Otherwise, no real prep required.

  • When will I see results?

First softening appears around day three. Full effect lands by day fourteen. Try not to judge your results before two weeks — the muscles are still adjusting.

  • How long do results last?

Three to four months for most patients. With consistent retreatment over time, the muscles often learn to relax and results stretch a little longer.

  • What are the side effects?

Brief redness or pinpoint bruising at the injection sites is most common, usually resolving within a few days. Mild headache for 24 hours is occasional. Temporary asymmetry or eyelid heaviness is rare and resolves on its own as the product settles. Serious complications are exceptionally uncommon when treatment is performed by a board-certified physician.

  • Will I still be able to make expressions?

Yes — that's the whole point. We use the minimum effective dose to soften lines while keeping your natural expression intact. The goal is rested, not frozen.
